Cancer Research Studies
- Researchers at the University of Buffalo presented a paper in 1999 that showed that Beta-sitosterol therapy significantly reduced the number of breast cancer cells grown in a laboratory setting by 66% within 5 days, compared to controls.
- Awad et al at the State University of New York in 1996 proved that Beta-sitosterol was a powerful inhibitor of colon cancer cells in humans.
