Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) may also be called Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (IDS) since it may be related to immune system malfunction. The most frequent abnormalities that have been associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrom have been: chronic activation of T-cells, decrease functioning of natural "killer cells," reduction of subsets of CD8 positive suppressor cells and an increased level of antibody to Epstein-Barr early antigen.
