Relationship of Sterols/Sterolins (Beta-Sitosterol)
and the Immune System
The significance of sterols/sterolins in relation to immune system efficiency cannot be stressed enough. Beta-sitosterol, in numerous studies, has shown to be a potent immune system modulator, increasing overall efficiency to fight foreign invaders and infections. Sterols/sterolins also have the capability of calming down the excessive production of antibodies and may correct the underlying cause of the autoimmune disorder.
