Relationship of Sterol/Sterolins (Beta-Sitosterol) Therapy to HIV/AIDS
Scientific studies have now shown that sterols/sterolins have the ability to increase the active life span of HIV-positive patients by maintaining CD4 lymphocyte counts, (while not considered a cure for AIDS since it does not seem to have any anti-viral effects.) The human body has no defense against AIDS since the virus that is causing the disease is ever changing.
AIDS attacks the cells that the immune system produces to fight disease, allowing the disease to freely attack healthy cells. At present, there is no known cure; however, it seems that sterols/sterolins can slow down the progression of the disease.
